NHRA Division 6 National Open Schedule
 

Gents,

Any news on the National Open schedule for Div. 6? Sent e-mail to Jonathon but no reply.

Figured it would have been released with Banquet this past weekend.

They can't figure out the D-6 Divisonal schedule, they have a TBA race date!!!! hoplfully woodburn does not get a 2nd race. Seattle should get a first shot at it for the work they have done, but Livingston will CRY THE LOUDEST??.

According to Acton's (Yellowstone Drag Strip) web site they claim that the August Div. 6 points meet is a go. I also have emailed Jonathan 3 times with no reply. Medicine Hat has it on the schedule that the August long weekend (1st weekend in August) with be a National Open race.

Bremerton has the open on their schedule for June 28-29.

The "Official Word" is the TBA race is at Montana! Where men are men and Sheep are scared.

Its now officially posted on the NHRA site the points meet is confirmed in Acton in August.

It's really nice that they moved medford back to toward the end of the year.

It will be easier to attend that way, and it will have a nicer turnout.

Here is the National Open Schedule from Jonathan as of last week.

Ashcroft May 31-June 1
Bremerton June 28-29
Medicine Hat August 2-3
Portland August 23-24

Portland isn't 100% yet, but it's close. All events will be doubleheaders with a test and tune on Friday.

So Mission doesn`t get an Open this year?
Also, would Portland be 1/8th or 1/4 mile? Since Portland requires mufflers for their regular races, would open exhaust be permitted at an Open race?
