Stock & SS and .90 classes and alcohol got 2 rounds in.
Finish starting at 8:00 am tomorrow.

Some of today's results are showing up on Live Timing.

I thought it was interesting the top two in Super Stock points and the top three in Stock points were tore down before the race started. Is this common?

Hey Bill, hope you and Clark are enjoying the races in your “back yard”. That kind of mass teardown is very unusual outside of Indy. Suspect the recent controversy,DQ’s and suspensions play a role, especially when you have a racer recently and who has done well in the points previously only to find out he was probably doing it with a bogus motor and probably winning several heads up races in the process. Also the D6 fiasco when you have someone go on to collect runner up points and be in contention for a top ten finish. Kudos to NHRA for sending a clear message, just sorry some good racers have to go through teardown to make the point that the integrity of class racing has to be preserved.

they used to have teardown`s @ Topeka Nation event`s , one year they check my car they even had half a rusty head to check my ports, they ran there finger down my intake & exhaust ports on my head & the rusty head.

So tell us what happened, was this a tear down like when you set a national record? if not what did it include. Sounds like you were all good congratulations

We received a call the day before the divisional race.
Told to remove one head.
Were told it was ok to have it off when we got to the track.


Checked the following items;
head volumes
bore & stroke
intake
carb
deck height
piston number
cam lift


Said they took the top 3 in points for stock for tear down in Div 4.

Also had Craig Bourgeois pull a head in Noble since he was leading the D4 points.

Parker that for response, it means more when one of you that got torn down replies takes a lot of the rumors away. I am sure a lot of others appreciate your post. Would love to hear all of the division do this. Good luck in your points battle looks like a tight one, with some very good racers.
