All Access @ Pomona
Hi! Everybody it's Pat Peery looking forward to viewing the race today instead of Audio Only. Imagine my surprise when it came online and it is still Audio Only. Please tell me this is not what we will have for Sportsman today.
Help!! Anyone.......Pat Peery |

Once racing begins, go back to the home screen and you'll more than likely see an option to watch video not just audio. At least that's usually what happens. |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
It's working for me now.
Thank you Matt.......Pat |
Re: All Access @ Pomona

Re: All Access @ Pomona
effed up here in the west - was working
I have done all I can to offer assistance (40 years in IT) Deaf ears at NHRA and AllAccess. No one gives a damn - and we just keep paying - proving most of us don't count. |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
Its been out for an hour here
|
Re: All Access @ Pomona
Live timing was down also however it is back up and All Access is still hosed.
Look at page 63 of the 10/19/18 National Dragster. NHRA has dropped the current vendor and is partnering with Sony for what sounds like a much more robust platform next year. Going to change the name maybe NHRA.TV but still not decided. Not going to miss the current vendor Cleeng one bit. |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
It is my understanding that today's issues were caused by the wildfires in southern California which damaged the network providing internet to the track (and lots of other areas in that area). All Access uses the track's internet to get the program out to the world, so when it goes down, so does the live stream as well as Live Timing. Live Timing will reconnect and start transmitting once the internet returns, but All Access usually requires a manual restart to reconnect. They would not necessarily know in the TV compound that it was back up unless they were checking (speaking from experience here). So that could explain the gap in service until everything was recovered. Hope that helps a bit.

Not going to miss the current vendor Cleeng one bit.[/QUOTE] Cleeng has sucked from day one. When you e-mail with a complaint/problem, they're sometimes days (well after the event's conclusion) getting back to you. A new provider will be welcome. |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
That is welcome news.

Not working here ,either.

Re: All Access @ Pomona
Not working. You can sign in and once it loads all you get is a frozen screen shot which currently shows No Stock and the dreaded spinning disc.

Re: All Access @ Pomona
Thank you Warren for providing some feedback. I too continue to be frustrated with the service (or lack of) from all-access. There is literally no contact path to get up to date information from the providers (not that they would give a rats behind). A simple explanation during times like this would suffice.
In my perfect world I would hand over all the sportsman coverage to you and I would gladly pay my yearly subscription fee for it. They can keep all the so called 'pro' coverage. I can see all I need of it on the Fox one hour long wrap up show. |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
BS the fires are not causing this - just NHRA mantra.
In my considerable opinion and vast extensive expertise. Only the actual local server being down could stop it briefly but the internet is way more robust and bullet proof. It would be substituted on line and service would resume in minutes. No mater - it is effed up - one way or another. Ron |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
It's up and running now.

Re: All Access @ Pomona
Now I'm pissed. Missed Brianna Marshall for last time this year. (Chris lost close one to Bellemeur)

Again we get ripped off by nhra. Wish I don't buy it last year.

Re: All Access @ Pomona
I can't find the refund button. We as consumers all suffer from the same disease......... "Elephants Memory". Good Luck next year NHRA I say with a wink. Next year All Access should be like a NHRA oil down penalty, one free one, and the rest monetary fine and loss of respect.

Re: All Access @ Pomona
Here we go again. MotorMania and all the other services run all day with no problems, sometimes 16hrs til early a.m. finish. All for FREE!

Today for the Sportsman runs it goes to hell in a handbasket....and was spotty before that and did not work yesterday at all.
Pros come out for rd 2and it magically works perfect... They will not get my $$ next year..... |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
Gary,
I have been dealing with the same problems as you. I was using Firefox & decided to try Chrome. It has been working for me.......so far. I'm glad this is the last race of the year because life is to short to deal with this kind of frustration. Hope this helps.....Pat |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
I gave up after 2 years of subscribing. Too many issues. Would go back in a minute if they could get it right!

The company collecting the money is not qualified to offer a service. I have a way to check to see if it is a relative on an NHRA exec. Ron |

Re: All Access @ Pomona
Have never subscribed, largely based on the experiences shared by members on this forum. But keep seeing NHRA selling it as such a great way to catch the action. So the younger tech savvy audience tunes in and sees limited real action, so they walk away to another venue, losing potential ticket sales in the future. Not a good strategy to grow the sport IMO.
Perhaps the new vendor will vastly improve things, so NHRA what took so long? |
Re: All Access @ Pomona
Unless they broadcast all of the event which includes Stock and Super Stock next year I'm out. They should reduce the price too.
