Made it to LVMS for the national and divisional events. Survived a major wind storm yesterday but the motorhome was a rocking! In the stacking line and are lucky number 13. Looks to be about 40 rigs here. Pitting starts tomorrow at 10am. This will be a day of cleaning all the dust and dirt created by the wind storm. Still very sad about the loss of Mark Lyle as is several racers I've talked to. He will be missed.

Made it into our pit spot. Things are moving great as usual. Looks like 90 rigs are pitted so far. Harold and Red as well as all the other parking people are doing their usual great job. Now for a day of R&R and maybe a beer or two later.

Made it thru tech. Too bad we couldn't run today. DA 2616. They do need to fix their scales. They're out almost 60 pounds. I didn't think I gained that much weight!

Its finally race day. Beautiful morning here in Las Vegas. Present conditions are 56.4T 36.5H 27.95BP 2320 DA. We should be running in an hour or so. Hopefully the scales are fixed.

R2 in stock just ran. DRC should post it shortly. SS hasn't run the second round of class.
We had to do some quick work on Charlene's car as the fuel didn't pass fuel check. All good for R2.

Race day. And its going to be a dialing challenge. 58.7T 28.1H 28.06BP 2294DA. NO WIND! Yesterday we has a 7-10 MPH headwind. Time to warm up the cars.

Sunday morning at LVMS and its going to be a hot day with temps close to 90. Present conditions 27.97BP 16%H 64.4T 2838DA. 2 rounds of stock and superstock this morning. I've been delegated to pit crew to hopefully help Charlene go more rounds.

Back from SamsTown RV park after 3 days of giving my liver a work out. I was going to test today but its quite a head wind so decided to pass. A few class cars testing today. Weather isn't looking good for this race as there's rain in the forecast. Hopefully the race goes off without a hitch. For those wondering they do sell VP fuel here for the division race.

First round of stock in the books and the qualifying is posted on DRC. About 4 faster for me than the national but that's with about a 6 mph tailwind. Bill Hardwick driving Don Keen's stocker lost an engine. Neil Rhodes in superstock oiled the track just a few minutes ago in superstock. Had about a half hour rain delay half way thru supercomp.

Been raining for 3 hours. I'm guessing it will be lucky if anymore cars get to go down the track today. They've already announced that if you have made a run today you're done for the day. Hopefully tomorrow the rain stays away.

Well...I had a race car, a truck and trailer last week at the Vegas National. Well... Now I have none of the listed at the track. My trailer is home with four new tires after blowing two on the way home. We pulled the motor and figured out the problem there, and had it back together, but we have no transmission so we are waiting on the repair of it, then I can hit the track again.

So, camera in hand, clouds in the sky, I did shoot some photos. I plan on setting the camera down the rest of the weekend. We will see if I can sit still and do that. Enjoy the shots I took today, and good luck to all the racers this weekend.
