It might be a little late for the east coasters, but you need to watch Power Nation TV today. They are doing a show on the COPO. Its a very cool look at the COPO's featuring our very own Class Racer sponsor SAM School of Automotive Machinists and racer Brian Massingill.
Its very nice to see Stock getting national exposer. Additional air date 10/28/14 Tuesday 4:30 pm (EST) NBC SN Engine Power |

It first aired on the PowerNation family of shows a couple weeks ago. Glad to see it replaying. Very cool segment with Judson and his wife there as well a couple students from the school.
What a first class group of folks! I started a Motorsports Class at our high school to teach students about drag racing, show them how math, science and technology play a role in all motorsports, and most importantly introduce them to post-secondary vocational school and career options dealing with automobiles. SAM has sent us banners, decals, t-shirts, hats, ... to give to the kids and we plan to visit them soon to see their shop and cars. What a great bunch of people. Scott |

They have a white COPO Super Stock car too. Got to run it at the Noble, OK div 4 points race.
Judson is a neat guy. I helped him with tuning his orange '98 Camaro he used to race. |

My dad went by your trailer at one of the races but you weren’t there. He said he will see you at the races next season. He never stopped running his 1999 Camaro. It runs the Chevrolet LSX Challenge Series in All Motor Class (no power adders). It weighs 2975 pounds and runs a 430 inch LS engine, production Chevy wedge heads, cast manifold and single throttle body. It runs 8.00’s at 171 on 10.5” tires. It is still a stick car. The COPO that you ran in Super Stock is our friend Brandon Bakkies. We did the engine work on his COPO. I run our white COPO in Stock. Also if anyone missed the Engine Power episode it is available to watch online, http://www.powernationtv.com/episode...ro-combat-prep -Brian Massingill |
