No , I was using a pro tree. My lights were not "stellar" on those 2 passes ........an .097 and an .077.
Ga.
Video is a great aide , isnt it. The first thing I notice is the bump valving is too stiff , rebound on driver side also. I'll change those and see what happens.

All face plates. At one time or another I think I've replaced ( broken )almost everything in the trans...............including a case.
Face plating was the best thing I did.

Not being critical, but I really think your car is moving on you,I watched vidoes again and, watching the tires it looks like it does'nt quit moving, watch the tires and see if it looks that way to you,it looks like it is creeping slowly, but maybe I'm seeing things.
I don't like watching makes me miss my Nova, what I miss the most is the 9600 rpm leaves,I would have left harder but I was just bracket racing,so I took it easy on it,LOL

Six Gun in my experience the 3.25 will probaly work good in your car,if you clear 60' in low gear be about right if shift before 60' probaly be a little to low,

Joespanova,
Love the car,you gonna bracket, stick shift series, all the above?

Re: A couple videos for my fellow stick racers

Mike , tell me about the Nova.
I really am a Super Stock racer at heart , but the time and energy just isnt there...actually , Modified eliminator was my biggest rush , from the late seventies to the early eighties.......so I built the Nova in the spirit of those classes.
I hear ya on the rolling thru the beams , but I must have it figured out reasonably well because I dont red light often LOL.
I am going to adjust the clutch , play with shocks and see if I can get that elusive 1.29 60 ft time. I should be able to get this thing in the 9.40s.
I just index race it ( 6.0 or 9.50 ) at fun events in Ga.

I think I should have posted this in another section but I'm a "dumb guy" . LOL

I watched your video a couple of times too..You are rolling slightly and as deep as you were , you are already in the low 9.40`s........

Joe,
My Nova was stock front end w/ engine set back and alum.int. had all steel body w/glass hood, basically it was'nt good for anything except bracket,I considered finding donor car and putting back in SS form or all the way back to stock condition, if it did'nt sell, but it did.
Had 355 w tunnel ram and 2 660's alum. bowtie heads 23 degree nash 5 speed weighed 2900 w me in it ran 6.12 1/8 sold around 2000-2001.
