Re: ADRL Change
Hey Bret, what are you guys doing to bring the NA cars closer to the boosted cars? Although there are some NA cars that can run high 5's to the 1/8th, most will not and thats a far cry from 70's. I would love to see more cars and more parity in the class along with better diversity. I know there will be more Camaro's offer a few more cars but the NA cars need a place to play as well.
Would a tenth or two tenths staggered pro tree ever be considered? |

Point series coming in 2013.

Re: ADRL Change
ADRL released their 2013 schedule, it may be an oversight but lists all categories but Supercar. Or possibly remains as a "special" class? Bret?

See Yellow Bullet Pro Modified forum for details. |
Re: ADRL Change

Re: ADRL Change
Heads up racing wont work unless it's a pro class and you get paid money . Cars cost 100k, trick motors run 40K , plus all the other expenses who wants to race heads up for free ?
Somebody put up 10k per race to the winner and 5k to r/u and 50k to the champion at the end of the season and guys will show up to race . And you need same blowers , cubic inches and 3spd trans for every car . Pump them for ci and ck tb size everything else is legal and let them race . Any body got 200k laying around to fund it ? Bret get a money sponsor for XDRL factory cars |

Step 1: Learn to spell "loser" before attempting to use it in a sentence. Step 2: ...and "matter". Step 3: ...and "it's". Follow these three simple steps and you can post messages on InterNet forums just like the big kids! |
Re: ADRL Change
With holbrook running what he did in the 1/8th mile my question still stands as to what if anything will be done by the rules to bring the NA and boosted cars closer together. Bret I would really appreciate your response on this issue since your are directly involved what occurs with the class.
Also, what are you expectations of class growth for this year vs. last year? Quote:

Re: ADRL Change
Banish the slushboxes and make the class stickshift only and that should help equalize the boosted vs non boosted.
I'm hoping this XDRL runs west coast races. Maybe proper 1/4 mile too. |

Re: ADRL Change
Wow!!! Man a pack of wolves can't be much worse. Somebody post how to use spell check, and somebody post a site for 'The Power of Positive Thinking' and I'm going to work on my raggetty race cars and shut up. Tuff bunch in the off season.

Re: ADRL Change
X-Tech Man, (whomever you are), no apology is required. You're entitled to your opinion and I have no problem whatsoever with your opinion. I merely pointed out your illiteracy.
Unfortunately, I guess I must now also point out threats are not taken lightly...on the InterNet or anywhere else. |

Interesting that their press release did not mention Super Car. Here's a screen capture of their website taken last week.
