Are these opinions based on stocker sized tires or some of the larger tires for super stock also? Thanks for the responses.

Hoosier also has a great 10.5" x 30 Radial for some applications
I like them on a 12" rim on my small block SS/JA car

Both. We have Hoosiers on the Super Stock Camaro as well.

Tried both M/T and Hoosier Radials. 13.5/ 31.5s and 33/14.5s. Hoosier wins our vote

I have tried both C06, and C07, Hoosiers (30X9.0). No ET/MPH change, but I get more "hits" on the C07's

If you need the extra traction use the CO6. If not use the CO7 and get longer tire life. I switched from the CO7 to the CO6 and I get more consistent traction. Expecially on marginal tracks. I have never tried the M/T's but the Hoosiers do hook better than Goodyears.

Been running Hoosier Radials for the past 11 years, 8 of which running on their 30 x 10.5 CO7 radial slick, using 3 sets per season, logging 75 passes per set on my former 3880 lb. '68 Chevelle that went a best 60 foot of 1.28 launching off the footbrake...

The last 3 years I've been running their 32 x 13.5 CO6 radial slick, using 2 sets per season logging 125 passes per set, on my 3130lb. former super stock ride that has gone a best 60 foot of 1.17 launching off the footbrake as well...

Both cars are DEADLY, with the 60 foots varing thousanths from pass to pass.

My brother and I have run M/T radials on our Super Stockers for years now. They are very consistant, and we've been getting 90-100 runs out of a pair! Mine even hooked with the cords showing! Never used Hoosiers, but I would be surprised if you could find a better radial (14x32 and 14.5x33) drag tire!

Re: M/T or Hoosier radials

30x9 M/T radials (and on a narrow rim to boot). With the crate motor, 60's in the mid-high 1.4's (best of a 1.376), 110-112 runs like clockwork Been 1.40 on cords. Been on Mickey's since I was in high school!
