I'm happy with Hoosier 18107 (28x4.5x15) about 11.5 lb. each, very stable at 116 mph.

I have the M/T 27.5 on mine & like them...Dad has the old school Moroso 7.10 (their 28") on his. We ran the Moroso DS2 & didn't care much for them....short life span

28" Hoosiers have given me good life and wear. But I choose the height (rollout) based on what's needed to help with reaction times.

x2 Greg... I had a set of DS2's about 10 years ago... never again! Can't believe how quick they wore out.

Mike,

if you would quit locking your front brakes up at the finish line, the DS2's last a long time!

jeff g, you need to listen to Myron; getting the right rollout based on your spot on the tree is the main criteria and I've done good with Hoosier as well. Ideally, you need a "short" and "taller" set for varying tracks...plus if you REALLY need that extra ET a short tire is working against you (remember rollout). It all has very little to do with "the right look". Just my 2C
