C12 at Milan

Just wondering if anyone going to Milan will have any C12 they are able to part with. I'm looking to buy 5 to 10 gallons. I'm leaving NY right now, but if anyone knows who might have some, please post and I'll get up with them tomorrow. Thanks.

Duane,
Is that true about Torco.
I wrote them a check for a drum of fuel at Rockingham and it took them over a month to cash it.

I was told something along those lines. Eastern Race Fuels who supplied Torco to East Coast tracks fuel is no longer in the fuel business.

In Dubois PA today, my dad saw diesel for $4.97 and gas for $3.95. I'm afraid it's only going to get worse.

Diesel is up over $5.00 a gallon in the Buffalo, NY area. No signs of slowing down either.

Here in the northern suburbs of Chicago diesel went from 4.499 to 4.89 from 8 AM til 4 PM yesterday----No deliveries at this station (Marathon) just a flip of the switch on the sign after "the phone call" from headquarters---So far diesel has gone from 3.359 on Feb 24 to todays 4.899---My hours at work went from 40++ on Feb 24 to todays maybe 35 hours per week---Great huh??? My car and trailer are parked until I win the lottery---Comp 387

Herb, do we need to talk about fuel?

I bought diesel at Wal-mart today in Fayetteville NC for $4.47 everybody else was between $4.71 and $4.89
There is a law in NC you CAN NOT sell fuel below wholesale. Going by that I think we are taking one in the rear from the gas stations.

We're changing the thread but, oh well!!
OK, we're all pissed off about the high price at the pump, (stupid future traders, they must have a bus pass) but as the price of a barrel of oil doubles, how does that translate to a triple, (or more) a gallon of fuel??? Just how many gallons of fuel is in a 'barrel' of crude in the first place?? Is it the refineries making all the money (aka Bushies buddies) or is the US buying too much internationally refined fuel?
I have some friends with local oil well interests and their production has all but stopped, go figure!
Around here, So. Cal., you can tell that there are less cars on the road, (not a bad thing in one way) how come it hasn't caused a glut of supply and drive the price back down like it has in the past??

That's a great question.

There are other factors, at least with gasoline, that affect the price. One of being the weak American dollar, it's now more profitable to trade oil for the Euro, the other is the demand countries like China and India are putting on the supply. I think it's time we start using what we have and then we can pay pennies on the dollar for gas/diesel like the citizens of Saudi Arabia do!! JMO
