Who's going to Milan?
 

With the price of fuel how many people are still planning on making the trip for the back to back national & points race? I'm just wondering since it's one trip for 3 races if that'll bring more people in, or if it'll be the big dogs & local division cars since travel is so expensive right now.

I'm going to the World Footbrake Challenge at Bristol. I would've come up for the Milan Pro-Ams the following week, but they rescheduled the rainout Mooresville Pro-Am on top of it! :mad: :confused:

My Dad and I will both be there, if all goes well at Columus CC this weekend. The Milan and Martin schedule is the main reason that we chose division 3 this year. I think that IHRA deserves some credit for that idea.

There is always someone to complain about a track not being very good. The fact is that you have to make your car work on every track, good or bad.

Just throw DJ's ***** out when he gets there. You know he cheats. LOL!! I won't be there. Cutting back on travel this year. Going to Maple Grove and try NHRA for a change. It's alot closer to home.

DJ...you and Anthony can go to the casinos and clean up and then come in Sunday and win and runner-up. Brian and I will be going to an AMC bash at Columbus, OH on Friday and then to a "Gear Jammer's" race at Kanawha Valley on Saturday. Should be able to make roundtrip on one tank of fuel.

Your right, I have not been racing much recently as my responsibilities are now geared to my wife and two beautiful little girls and taking the time and energy necessary to raise them correctly. My last race was the 2007 Bowling Green, KY points race.

One of the last times I was at Milan was at the points race in 2003. With my “fire breathing” v-6 I made it to the semi finals mainly because my truck hooked better than most other racers. I saw John Lovins get sideways on the staring line in my rear view mirror when I raced him.

Milan will hook ok when IHRA preps the track, but the local guys are HORRIBLE. Every weekend I went there to race, I’d spin. It’s the only track I’ve EVER spun at with the truck. I raced there with regular occurrence from 2001 to 2003. If you talk to the local stock guys, very few if any will test there. They will drive past Milan to test at Stanton or Norwalk.

I didn't even read your post chris, but I know from personal experience you are a Wholehell of a lot better than that to respond with content to this Retard w/ internet. I can find him if you like chris, post his exact location and bring you an aerial pic of his mothers house where he is living for the rest of his short life.
