Here are a few pics of Stock winner Mike Quartarone - he qualified #66 out of 68 using the newly NHRA approved 350 / 255 hp flat hood combination -- well done Mike .

What was the issue with the CI hood ?

Was it not an option ?

Someone dig back..and find out they did not have Hydros either. :}

I know I missed this in my reporting and would like to say thanks, although very late.

I would like to thank Gary Richard from PC Richard & Son for his support for our Division 1 opens. Gary has been the Div 1 sponsor for many years. I can't speak for all racers, but I know myself at times forget and take it for granted that these races will always be here. Gary steps up every year supporting our opens. Most people that know Gary, know he loves racing and loves to support us anyway he can. He is true gentleman, he always has a smile on his face and a kind word.

I know there are some negatives in racing, but when its all said and done its the people that make it fun, and for me it's what I look forward too. So if you see Gary in the pits, thank him for his support, it will bring a smile to his face and yours.
