Re: Station Wagons
I remember the first time I met Al Corda at the '05 NW Nats. Since I run a '64 Plymouth wagon just like he used to I really wanted to show him my freshly completed stocker. I shook his hand and introduced myself and told him what I had but he was kind of gruff and just said "That's not my wagon!" I was kind of pissy about it until I saw his pit area with a stocker and a S/Ser both on jackstands w/trannies and converters all over the place and Al sweating and bitching at his crewman. Later I met him again under better circumstances in Phoenix and he signed my wagon. He's a really nice guy and a killer racer, even though me went over to the dark GM side...

Dennis.....no, I never owned the "Tons A Fun" car. That went to a super gas racer from Canada. He repainted it green, black and silver. Only ran it a year or two. I did have one just like it and I bought it from Gary. He found it in a junk yard in Saratoga, N.Y.-GTO nose and all.
