What does everone like for camshaft end play on their 5.0 Ford. I have a Rollmaster CS3071 chain set with torrington bearings on both sides of the retaining plate.

Harland Sharp S40076A vs Scorpion 3221 - does anyone have any feedback? Also, Scorpion Endurance is 28g lighter than their Race rocker so I wanted to see if they are 28g lighter than the Harland also?

I cracked 4 of these near the roller and only have one spare. Don't see them made anymore. Were they defective?

Another black and white ruling that clearly doesn't stand. I have seen everyone shave the pedestals down and put screw-in studs in. I know of a few that have set records and went through tear-down with them.

When roller rockers were first approved I asked NHRA if I could switch the stock pedestal rockers out for stud mounts and was told a resounding "NO", read the rule book. I'd always been nervous about the little 5/16 bolts holding down the pedestal but have never had a problem with them. Been running the same set of Sealed Power rockers for 12 seasons along with adjustable pushrods with lots of spring pressure, no issues.

Haven't ever had a problem with breaking a 5/16 pedestal hold down...haven't heard of any failures at all with pedestals, they can take a lot. I've used the adjustable Ford rockers (B-351) and the PRW's. I had 1 failure with 1 Ford Motorsport rocker...not enough material around the the adjusting threads.....punched a adjuster through....the PRW's have lots more material in the same area and are stronger..but had to play with geometry a bit and cut the stands to get the geometry right. They work fine......

I decided to go with PRW, never heard of them and it looks like they are made overseas but the price is right, looks like they have more meat near the roller so hopefully they don't crack like the Comps did. Just hoping they last until my next refresh when I can legally go to the stud rockers.
