BO29 and LO23 Hemi Blocks
Does anybody know or have an original block From 68 BO29 Hemi Barracuda or a LO23 Hemi Dart. My question is, What is stamped on them. Was the first 50 different from the rest? Trying to find some info on these blocks. I am going to look at one. I want to make sure what I am looking at. thanks for any help |

From what I've gathered is they're late 66 blocks. They have a stamping on the pad by the distributor HC= High Compression. Jim Schild has all this info in his 1968 SS Hemi book I believe. His email is jschild@htc.net liteweight |

Re: Original Hemi Cuda Info.......
Pancakes' (and my old) Death Wish is on RacingJunk today. Someone in Baytown has it now. Not an original car but we spent a ton on it when we had it. New quarters, front end, shocks, electronics, fuel, 16V, wheels tires and cage upgrade etc etc etc. Momma made me get rid of it. Has new SS headers setup for a wedge. I have nothing to do with it now. Is it a BO29 no, is it cool and in good shape. YES
I told Jim he should buy it back. Phish |

Supposedly it has sold already! It looks like a nice piece.
You sure couldn't build it for that! Dan |
