I don't read all his posts. That does sound like "D". LOL
There are a couple of SS/JA cars I can't outrun. Maybe I could convince NHRA to just let me run K?

Fwiw. My life does not revolve around Drag Racing.
Also an 11 year Soccer Referee Veteran.
Have played and coached many years before that.
Very proud of this ... have been selected by MSI to receive the
2017 Stan Hunter Referee of the Year Award.

Do you think a stock ZZ4 or a stock 5.3 LS out of a pickup truck in the salvage yard will run the index in any car? Do you think it will be competitive in a heads up? Will it qualify for Indy? Unfortunately our class isn't what it was in the 60's and 70's. There are 40 and 50 K engines in stockers now that run A through E. You had some expensive rides back in the day. You should be able to relate

Todd, those 40k-50k engines I hate to tell you are not stock, far from it you and everyone else knows it. Just cant bring yourself to admit it.

Those engines pass NHRA tech. They do at Indy and all over every year. If they pass tech for stock then they are stock. Regardless of your opinion

That good, you are on here enough spouting a lot of bugle oil about how
NHRA should accommodate you and the car you used to race in the IHRA. Sounds like you can move on with a smile. For someone who’s life doesn’t revolve around drag racing you spend a lot time here talking about it.

Just supposing, if there was a crate motor class and the regular stock class, which one would fill up faster?

Who cares? What one filled up in IHRA faster? That’s your answer
