Re: Original hemi dart information
That display sign looks just like the one for the Hemi Dart I saw at New England Dragway 2 or 3 years ago, although it may be a different car. I have more pics on my PC up north. I talked to the couple that own it. When I get back home, I'll have to look for the pics, and I thought I or someone else posted a pic of it on this thread.

Pictures deleted due to non compliance
Here's the next set. After dissecting these for whatever I can find this is what I have come up with. Always open to new set of eyes that may see something I"m missing. - I am seeing 4 Darts in this pic. The one closest must be very near to completion since it has the Super Stock trunk mounted battery in it now .. -Trunk floor and lid are now painted black. -The car jacked still has its steel front fenders on it and the ] -This pic shows what looks to be an automatic car with a 8 3/4 in it. IHard to really tell the width of it but if I were a gambling man it looks the B Body width. ] Pictures supplied by Bob Buntin, shared through Tim Hennessey and clarified by Robin McQueen |

Since it was recently mentioned again, it sounds as though you know where this one is. https://image.ibb.co/iZTOjk/run_a_gate.jpg |

Re: Original hemi dart information
Just to kick an old can down the road again( we looked at this way back when ) this story mentions this west coast Dart had "brushed a wall" at some point.
It and a pile of parts was sold and was taken back to Atlanta area and repaired. Did it ever get identified as to whose it was originally and where else it had been? http://www.dragracingscene.com/featu...pace-and-time/ http://www.dragracingscene.com/wp-co...1-1200x798.jpg |
Re: Original hemi dart information
Does anyone recognize this orange Dart. Mark Janaky or Dell Jones?? Is this a real one or is another one I'm thinking it might be that showed up at a race track in Ohio around that time. If so what car these numbers come from?

I remember the owner of the car tell me he did some match races against Dick Landy back in the day. The first pic above is from the same show i was at in Lockport, Illinois. The second pic is later at a different location? |
