Another R-code Torino that has been around a lot! Last I heard it was for sale again.

Dave's car is a non RO car.....only 14 or 17 built. Raced as an RO for the hood scoop. 242 original miles

Dave told me Bob Walls car is the same as his, rare street Hemi!

Bob's car is a RO car.....Dave's isn't. Dave built them both and are both 4 speeds

My 1995 Formula is a one-of-one car with 186 miles. I hope to have it back out soon.

Wow, I thought Bob's was a street version!

I don't believe so......been wrong before though. The engines are, for the most part, the same in both forms. The only difference, if I remember right, from when Dave told me is.....the street version (non RO) doesn't have a hood scoop and no transistor ignition. The RO's had both the hood scoop and ignition. Not sure if anything else is different. NHRA rates them both the same I think.....that's why Dave runs his as an RO

I'll ask Dave when I see him again.

No pics and I don't think they race it anymore, but Willie D. and Lyle Smith's T-Bolt at least deserves a mention here. Maybe someone has photos, which I believe it was a Gas Ronda car. Even though there are lots of special cars that are not raced anymore, their history is simply awesome and deserves respect.

As a footnote, I just discovered that Mr. Smith passed away in September, my apologies to the family, for mentioning him without permission.
