Chris

I had set it (the album) up to be public, but I guess it's not viewable to non-Facebook members. I'll change my profile to public, maybe that will work better.

Also some lightweight Fords and other classic Ford racecars. Plus antique cars, muscle cars and race cars. Here is a link to the album of pics i took there in May, from my Facebook page. Let me know if it does not work.

Mike,

Back in '89 0r '90 I was invited to a Nostalgia SS race in Gainesville by Jerry Kelly and was pitted by a guy named Don Snyder who was racing a 421 '62 Pontiac. He blew his engine on the first match race against me but stayed around for the weekend.

I wonder if this is the same guy?

Could be. He has a few Pontiacs in his collection (one of Beswick's Tameless Tigers). Mostly old Ford/Mopar stuff, Stile's '66 A/S car, all the T-bolts and Galaxie /lightweight Ford stuff are in one room, plus two others. Awesome collection. It is open to the public, but by appointment only. If anyone schedules one for there (I went in May when I took those pics), I will make a post on here about it, for those close enough to enjoy it (it's in New Springfield Ohio, not far from the PA/OH state line, not far from New Castle PA or Youngstown OH, not far from Quaker City Dragway in Salem OH).

Hi Drake. Actually I live in PA, but am less than two miles from the Ohio line. I'm not sure if our group met Don or not. But the collection is awesome beyond words. I just turned thirty-three last month, so I wasn't around when those cars in the garages were tearing up the dragstrips. But was super cool to get to see them, no question. I just wish there was a way to make the album public, so anyone could view it.

I just got the Hot Wheels, Nazy Crate, wayy cooll.
Thanks to all responding here. This is Great American History.

Maybe Drake can comment on this question...so which ones did he restore. I heard some stories that someone found the very first '64 Thunderbolt shell and that they restored it, this was some years back.

Don Snyder does not own the Strickler '63 Z-11. Don does have a nice collection of T-bolts including the first and last ones built...
