Kyle,

I hate to keep reprimanding you, but please remember to post your 60' times, number of passes and a color photo of your car launching with your future posts.

Thank you, Tracy

I know, I know. I would post the 60', but I have already been told that no LT1 Stocker can cut those times so I would just look like a liar. And the last time I put up a picture of my car doing a wheelie it somehow found it's way onto your toilet seat.

That really hurt my delicate feelings.

And make that 1 poster (me) that is glad this subject came up because I had forgotten Jim Bailey's name and had some gears that I needed to send to him for treatment. I guess I owe you or whoever smoked him out a "thank you."

You got to be kidding???
You must be hanging out with Andy Miller lately and making a fool of yourself...
...do a search and you will find out that Mr. Gebler is no longer with us.

where did I say I would have Gebler build me a new set?:p

Update, make that 21 users now that have not answer all the op's questions of which 6 only replied to this thread to comment on my replies.

Amen
Jim Bailey is a good guy and I love my newly treated gears.

Re: Mikronite

this thread ain't about Jim or his rediculous claims. It's about Mikronite applied to a R&P, how much it costs and if it is worth any ET.

Now who here believes I'll run a new best 60 foot of 1.15 as Jim claims, with my car's typcial 60 foots being 1.20 and it's best 1.17, just from having my gears treated with this process costing $100?

We all know if you read it on an internet message board, it must be true.

I would like to to know if anyone has ran a before and after on one of the rearend dynos that are around to see if there are truley differences needs to be run with about a 450-500 lb ft of torque input.

Translation: I stepped on my crank and doing my level best to back out like a crawdad. Thank goodness I don't use my real name or this would be more difficult to do. (Translation off)

The original poster has all of his questions answered except for one which is near impossible to answer with exact numbers. How much is it worth? No one can answer what any change will result with exact numbers. Our testing on the track isn't that controlled. Jim Bailey did his best estimate and it is just as difficult to disprove him as anything.

You are just being obtuse.

Re: Mikronite

But you could/can measure differences in a rear by running them an a Drive train dyno just like NASCAR Teams do all the time. As I remeber G-Force South has or had one.
