Even though it was only an 1/8, Springfield IL. I barely remember being there as a very small child with my Dad. Also Lawrenceville IL. Heard it was held on an Air Base.

Im to young to have ever been to any of the tracks that have been mentioned. But from talking with a guy who lived out west I would have to say I wish I could now run at Lion's and OCIR. Two local tracks, that arent really "Historic" that I wish I could have ran at are Lawrence Dragstrip in Lawrence Ks, and the original Kansas City dragstrip down by front street in Kansas City, Mo. I belive it was ran by the KCTA Kansas City timing Assciation.

Lakeland International outside Memphis. Went with friend to run his Superstock '62 Plymotuh wagon there. It was same weekend that film footage was used in the movie Two Lane Blacktop. Great track and lots of good competition.
