Lew, let me guess, being from Virginia, you either work for some corrupt government, agency or you are indirectly making money off of some corrupt government program, and Trump is coming after it. Because I can not believe a person that races cars would support a communist party they call democrats. Believe me I probably pay your wages, because I pay a sh** load of federal tax, I also pay over $1500 a month for that great insurance program called Obama care that really sucks. There is no insurance program called Obamacare. The ACA - also known as Obamacare -- is just a marketplace in which private insurance companies sell their policies to people who do not get insurance from their employers.

If you are paying a lot of money for a bad policy, that's what the private companies are selling you.

Educate yourself, Lew, I am paying $1500 a month so lazy commies who do not work get there's free, period, you need to wake up. I paid $400 a month for my whole family before the Kenyan and his commie administration got a hold of it, so what you are saying is BS. What you don't think I shopped around, when you make over a certain amount a year you pay out the A** for insurance, you have the VA, I pay for yours.

And I will gladly pay for it, I have worked in socialist countries with socialist health car and have heard horror stories. Go to Blain Washington and ask yourself why they have so many medical centers in a town of a few thousand people. Because the canadians with money come to the states to get MRI's Chemo, and any other life saving medicine they need

I have 4 kids, 6 total in my family, I paid $523 a month for 10 years for my whole family's health care insurance. Obama passes his BS health care plan and suddenly the next month my insurance almost doubles then a couple months later it tripled, then for NO reason they drop my healthcare completely. I was even penalized and fined the next year when I did my taxes cause I didn't have health ins. the whole 12 months, it took me a couple months to find some. Try finding health ins. now for a family of 6 that's even reasonable, let alone affordable, another brilliant Obama idea,to fine people who don't have it. ALL US WORKING people pay for all the NON working welfare people so they can now have health ins. on our dime. BS

Bret, this was my post originally, so I guess I can get off topic a little. Referring to Obamacare, the guy that was shot by a police officer 7 times in the back is 29 years old and has 6 or 7 children. He has 13 siblings. Do the math on that for healthcare. 23 people, none employed.

And I made the mistake of thinking that most people from Missouri had common sense - looks like we're both misinformed!


But just to put what ever brain cells you've got that are still functioning at ease, I don't work anymore! I get a rather modest Social Security check each month (which I paid into for 50 years) and a pension from the DoD for 38 years of honorable and faithful service in the US military.



So I guess you'll have to continue looking for who ever it is that's supposedly "living" off all those Federal Taxes you have to pay. (Funny thing though, wasn't the president* supposed to give YOU a break a few years ago? He couldn't stop talking about it! Did you get overlooked? Bummer!)


And up until recently, I never thought that a person's "politics" made them unsuitable for any particular hobby. Looks like you've got that all figured out too, huh? Good! When the voices in your head quiet down a bit, you might want to ask yourself where you came up with that idea. Sounds like just another hair-brained Republican without a clue!

As Jim correctly mentioned, there is no "Obamacare". It's called the Affordable Care Act (ACA). You know, the one that our president* and the Republican's in Congress have been trying to get rid of for almost 4 years, without having anything to replace it with. But maybe you don't need any coverage for a pre-existing condition, which you might not be able to obtain without the ACA. And at the risk of assuming anything, I'd guess your $1500 monthly premium check goes to an insurance company, and not to the Treasury? Do you get to go to special hospitals, or the regular ones like the rest of us?



Glad you mentioned Canada! You know they have private hospitals there, don't you? Some rather famous ones too - many Americans go up there for treatment. You know, the folks who can afford it.


(Not sure why you think you know so much about my situation, but you seem to be wrong a lot. But if you know so much, how about getting the VA to treat my Non-Service Connected disability - they don't take my Tricare!)

The ACA was land mark legislation. You and Lew should be proud to have it named after your president Obama if it were in fact such a brilliant piece of legislation. Yet you are offended with the nick name "obama care". What gives????

Those of us who are self employed know what a piece of crap obama care is. Our income varies year to year and we will never get on the "exchange" due to the severe fines (taxes as Roberts defines it) that are levied for exceeding income thresholds. Our private insurance premium is $17.2k a year and that doesn't include co-pay and it's a far superior policy for much less money than obamacare.

I'm sure you're aware the federal gov gets a healty cut for administratiing that piece of crap exchange.You know so little about so much.
