I found out about them from some off road friends and they are really rugged and dependable.
And they are extremely light weight.
A couple of my customers have switched to them with great results. https://shop.antigravitybatteries.co...extreme-power/

These look good and definitely weight savings. How long is the charge time on these? Are they ok with alternators due to the fact that they require lithium ion chargers? Also, has anyone else heard of fires stemming from lithium ion batteries? I know a pro stock team had one a few years back.

Bobby ,No problems with running with the alternator according to the manufacturer ,and I have seen none on the cars that I know are running them.
They should be charged between runs with the correct charger.
I have not heard of anyone having problems with these particular batteries, however ,I recommend that they be completely disconnected for storage and transportation between races.

Sounds like you and I have exactly the same battery experience, Larry. This is the 4th season on my two 11.5 lb Braille batteries. I even completely killed them once last year by leaving the water pump on for 5 hours...discovered this fact when they called us up for first round. Charged them for 15 minutes or so, the car started, and I still beat a few people to the lanes.

Paul do u have to use their charger?
