Moving into the really fun part of stripping the car , sound deadener, and seam sealer

I used dry ice...made it much easier.

Thanks Rich, I have been using a heat gun and gasket scraper, works OK, seam sealer is 1/2" thick, and 1-2 inches wide, and there is lots of it.

The dry ice makes it brittle and it come up in big chunks/flakes instead of smearing. :)

Getting the cage done really makes it look like things are starting to take shape. MPR Mike sure does some nice work. Do you have a planned goal for the completion date? Did you ever find a CJ faux gas cap? I have been looking for one too. What are you planning on doing for headers?

Getting all this done made the light at the end of the tunnel a little brighter, but it is still a LONG ways away. I don't think there any faux gas caps out there, there was one on ebay several months ago for $250, didn't like it that much. Hopefully later this year it should be done. I have discussed headers with RJ.

Boy,http://classracer.com/classforum/DPcj.jpg I know what your talking about there Jerry. I'm almost at the identical stage with my "body in white" Challenger build. The cage is a big hurdle, and I agree with Jeff, MPR Mike does outstanding work, but when it reality sinks in, still a lot to do. I hope to have mine finish this fall also.
Speaking of Jeff, I had my Challenger stored at his shop while it was waiting to go in for the cage and look what he did to it.

Good luck and look forward to see yours completed!
