Scott near the sunshine bridge on the outskirts of donaldsonville there are 3 or 4 nice new hotels that have recently been built, they're approximately 15 minutes from the track

Please help me with the logistics of this race.

Will we be able to drop trailer Thursday afternoon?

We are considering driving from East Texas Thursday, drop trailer at track Thursday evening, go to hotel.

It this a plan we can do?

OR, is this a better plan.

The drive from Kilgore to Belle Rose is about 6 1/2 hrs considering fuel and potty stops.

Is a better plan to leave Kilgore 8:00 AM Friday, arrive track 2:00 - 3:00 PM Friday?

This race is a Friday and Saturday race. You might want to leave Kilgore at two in morning and be there for 0830.

I still need help.

The flyer reads,

*Track test & tune Friday

*one class time trial Friday @ 7:00 PM

*two class time trails Saturday morning followed by eliminations.

Please help me, what am I missing? What is the reason to arrive before 4 - 5 PM Friday?

This is not always the case. I believe the Dutch or Atco NO (if not both) allow test n tune on thursday to count as record runs. So, I was wondering if you could set them friday during test n tune and when would tear down be.

Cooter, I just read the Dutch flyer and that's what they say they are going to do there. Allow record runs during test n tune.
