Re: 5TH Gen COPO Camaro
I'm guessing that GM will submit this combo to NHRA with a 305 HP rating.

LOL ! !
quote from another class racer. hmmm, 16 sec video, seems to "leave" at 8 sec, lifts at finish line (or sooner?), at 16=8? |
Re: 5TH Gen COPO Camaro
Troy, you seemed to have made a mistake on the spec sheet. The hp numbers were incorrectly labelled as cam duration;
Cam duration (deg.) 233/276 @ 50 244/255 @ 50 244/255 @ 50 is actually HP Rating (net) 233hp/276tq@ 5000rpm 244hp/255tq@5000rpm 244hp/255tq@5000rpm Although I do understand chev has been waiting to see how the car performs before it announces the hp numbers so weight can be adjusted to beat the mustang....or try anyway. LOL! |
Re: 5TH Gen COPO Camaro
I think that GM has made it pretty clear that they are aimed at A and AA (and the new classes). They are interested in going heads-up with the Cobra Jet and Drag Pak. Not one person at GM has suggested otherwise.
