That said, we've got that gear behind a 305 stocker and count it amongst those that ain't clicking it off at the stripe!;)

FYI, my bracket car is a Super Stock car built by arguably the best and it don't know that it don't have a super stock engine but it runs close to the average SS/AH car for a lot less $ and it makes alot more passes every season.

If they are in Colorado and running at altitude, a 6.14 would be close.

But who makes a 6.00 gear?

That's a std ratio for a 9" Ford maybe available for other center sections now as well. If not, you have one custom made. I've had custom gear sets made for 5 speed transmissions that you could not buy off of the shelf.

I don't know of any LEGAL 305 powered stockers that use a Ford 9"
