Wow, this is confusing, isn't it? That does imply that the insurance is included in the membership. But if you read more in the info page you see this:

That seems to imply that someone (us?) has to pay the premiums.

Boy, I'm confused. It looks like all membership does is give you access to the insurance that you're required to buy if you race any NHRA event. Hmmm...

I know that we all pay a membership fee which includes those items. This would be at any NHRA race. Bracket racing to National events, whether we are participating or just standing in the pits. That was my point, I'll pay the insurance if someone would tell me exactly what it is for. Is it coverage above and beyond the advertised coverage? I asked this question to several NHRA folks last year. No one, yes no one could answer what the additional fee was for, they just said insurance. The Glendora office said they would get back with me. Obviously I never heard another word.
Do a search, this has been brought up a few times with the same results "nothing"

It covers the additional insurance that NHRA has to have to run the BLOWN Nitro cars at National events. Guess who gets to help pay for it......LOL.

Actually as much as I hate to say it, I wont be running any MASGA races ever, but I do run the NESSA stuff...

Its nice , run a 10.90 race for 40 bucks saturday, bracket race for 65 oin sunday...how can you beat that...
