The new specs that Chevy resubmited show a auto was a option with Turbo 350 or PG, sorta like the 352 & 428 cars that FORD never built or sold since Wolfe & Holbrooks cars were rollers only!

You better $50 or 60 K laying around to build a good one.
Been there done that !
Look for a car done already, You'll be much better off.
If you really want a Corvette look for a newer small block car.

You are probably right, but with me half the fun and the challenge is the build, and I have a factory big block 69 that I am doing a frame off on now, and I am not much of a street drive around type.

I farm very little out so I am looking forward to the build.........But I do know exactly what you are saying been there before to

Thanks Ken
Rory

Talk to Steve Calabro and Joe Fasano, both are members here, they campaign a silver L-88 in Division 1. Also, talk to Jimmy Parker and Craig Couris, they are both members here as well, Craig has a very quick red L-88 Corvette in Division 2. They can tell you what you need to know not just about the car itself, but the L-88 as well. Two very nice and very fast L-88 Corvettes, and four extremely nice and helpful racers.

Thanks Alan I will make a point of trying to talk to them, I think I might have seen a youtube of Craig making a run, looked very good.
Thanks again I appreciate it

Moot point. The 401 head is a legal replacement for both.

The 69 can also use the original aluminum head for a slight HP adjustment (reduction) allowing it to run in A instead of AA. Being able to run A might help you avoid a potential heads up with a new factory car you cannot hope to compete with.
