Re: IHRA classification guide
Lyn,
You can now run the hoosier as long as it measures no more than the 29.5 I talked with Jonny and Mike about this. Hoosier will not label sidewalls @ 29.5 ,however as long as they measure correctly you may run them. Also all cams require stock duration for pure stock and the other items like Danny said. |
Re: IHRA classification guide

Re: IHRA classification guide
Danny, I thought only 5 HP off in pure stock on FI cars running the original trans.

Re: IHRA classification guide
Speaking of IHRA Pure Stock, (of which I want to run)... I see where the rulebook says you have to have the stock trans for yr. and h.p. claimed.
The way I understand the wording is that the automatic is restricted to a shift kit and convertor only. However, the wording on the manual trans does not list any internal restrictions. Does that mean I could run a fully race prepped T-5 in my 95 Mustang GT ...as long as the outside of the trans appears stock for my 95 ? Just curious...not that a 14 sec. car needs a full tilt T-5 :D |
Re: IHRA classification guide
Thinking of running my 1993 mustang in crate motor. What class would the 340 hp 302 be in, or the 450 hp 347. Thanks Bob
