Re: Original hemi dart information
I just got a call from a guy who is crushing out an old yard. He saw my ad looking for a HemiDart trans/shifter, and told me there is a Dart shell with trans, shifter, reverse lock-out and Dana, wheel wells cut, no motor, front end, glass, and in tough shape. I told him "DON"T CRUSH IT !!!", I may buy it all! I'll keep you posted if it's the real deal..........you never know......

Re: Original hemi dart information
Where is the yard located at? I'd be willing to bet that there is no VIN on the shell...

Re: Original hemi dart information
Dave,
If you can get a pic of the car, s/o numbers (on the radiator support or rear trunk driprail) I can find out the original VIN# Please keep me updated on this so I can account for this car. As for the orange Dart, it was originally a Chicago area car. Mark Janaky 1968 Hemi S/S registry |
Re: Original hemi dart information
Re LO Vins. I understand there was the initial run of @ 50 cars with sequential vins. Was there one or two more build runs/VIN sequences for the remaining est. 30 cars?
Is the Chinook Chrysler auto LO still the "highest/last" VIN found so far? |
