Re: Original hemi dart information
Daryl,
Are you sure you didn't mean 'Pete Preston'. He was a pretty good racer back in the mid-late 60's. He set the 1967 C/SA National Record with his 1962 Plymouth 'Sport Fury' {361/305 HP} lettered 'Heartbreaker II" |

Re: Original hemi dart information
This one showed up on the Byron / Rockford Dragway Facebook page this afternoon. Appears to have been taken during a 1973 points meet there.

One of the 3 current residing LO23's in Canada. This ones an original stick car to boot. Dave painstakingly did the footwork in tracing it's roots & found them. The result is below. Love that car D!!!! Sorry for the small pic. I can't find a full size of it....Hint,Hint, Hint http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/...psa0e4745f.jpg liteweight |

Re: Original hemi dart information
In speaking with the current care taker of The Red Light Bandit last night, he informed me that he is interested in selling it. Just putting this out there. A Great, Great car with unsurmassed background. AND, you don't have to pursue it's roots!!!!!
Anyone????? Here's your oportunity to own a true piece of history. liteweight http://i1115.photobucket.com/albums/...illBagshaw.jpg |
