Ferris and Haueter….. Is that Tom Haueter? I know Tom and Ron Hutter are pretty tight, they're both from Chardon Ohio.
Tom was running a 6cyl Dragster in Comp 15 - 20 years ago. I don't think he's been racing much since.

Wow lots of great photos. That 69 car was beautiful, looks like it was in modified after Hutter owned it. Anyone have info on where it is today?

Photo credit for the black and white shot to Charlie Gilchrist, who was the track photog at Thompson Drag Raceway. I knew Mike Valerio - who founded Competition Engineering - and let him use my '70 'Cuda to create the rollbar template for Mopar E-bodies.

Mike is in Florida now and recently sold MVM (Mike Velario Motorsports), he designed and built carbon fiber wheelie bars.
