Weather was around 1000 feet today and the track was killer in testing. Noriega's brand new Gary Russell motor went 11.92 @ 110 right out of the box in M/SA ! Jim

With two rounds of Stock and Super Stock done the rain clouds are moving in. Temp dropped about 10 in the last 30 min. Altitude was about 2300ft last round.Track temp is 93 right now. Jim

There's nothing on DRC about qualifying, can you tell me how my mentor with the Thunderstruck T-bird ran today?
Oh, and of course I'd like to know how well you ran lol!

It seems like D2 doesn't get the stuff posted as fast as other divisions, I can wait, and I appreciate the work the reporters do on DRC.

9.37 #26 qualifier. Beautiful car and a good bunch of guys. Bs'd with them in the lanes before 2nd qualifier.

44 cars on the sheet and Rich South is #1 @ -94 under.

Smitty, it's all up now on DRC. I am #5 right now out of 46 cars. Douglas had a problem with his line lock solenoid not releasing on the second pass and when the wheels came down he almost hit the wall. Scared us all! We are back at it at 9am in the morning. Rich Schafer told me tonight that 1320go.com has this race on live timing but there is no one from DRC here so he has to send the info to them when he can. Jim

The rain passed through last night and left us with cool air and a clear sky! It's going to be fast this morning. Track crew is working hard and it looks as if we are just about ready for the first qualifying session of the day. Jim

Thanks for the update, I talked to John and Rebel and they briefed me on the drifting that was going on lol. Hey, do me a favor, take it easy on Rebel if you have to run him cause you know have a little cushion on him ok.

Ok Smitty! We just ran the first round of SS and Stock will run in a little while. Randy Harrison set the K/SA record about an hour ago. No other records set that I know of. John Douglas, Bertozzi and Schimsher are out. Jim
