It all looked good until you said "The Alky Ha Ha cars" PUKE !

Somebody has to oil the track and spread clutch dust for us to skate around in.

IHRA is suppose to come out with there schedule next week. I got an email from D4 Director Frank K. I found this. Bad deal having the State Capitol race same weekend as NHRA D4 race in Houston. Most will run Houston.

Officially, the first two events on next year’s schedule have already been announced as Nitro Jam returns to Palm Beach International Raceway the weekend of January 28-29 followed by a stop at State Capitol Raceway the weekend of March 5-6. The remaining dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Nitro Jam officials will also be announcing the full lineup for 2011 which will include a total of five nitro classes and a brand new main event – a 20,000 horsepower jet truck vs. Grave Digger!

From the looks of their scheduling and program it doesn't look like they'll be lowering
the circus tent in the near futue.
You have to wonder what this guy Feld was thinking when he bought IHRA.He must have
inhaled to much elephant poop fumes.

The rumor floating around is the 5 NITRO Classes will be Top Fuel, Pro Fuel, Nostalgia Funny Cars, Top Fuel Harleys (Since the AMA Prostar deal is dead), and Nostalgia Nitro Fuel Altereds and Grave Digger vs. a Jet Truck....

Re: Internet rumors-what happens if IHRA folds?

Sorry Micheal but IHRA is already gone. Just look at car counts compared in percentage only to NHRA and its clear its not just the economy keeping them home. In 2006 our team participated at 11 IHRA races in div. 1 and 3 and in 2010 we went to 1 national because it was 3 hours from the door . The reasons were simple when we made the desision to attend less. Good tracks were taken by NHRA and other tracks dropped races and the general management of any of the races attended in the past couple of years was laughable. Look at a schedule of just 2 years ago to now in the northern U.S. and Canada compared to now. They may have the NitroJam spectators hood winked for now but that wont last.
P.S. I was a big fan and promotor of what it was but cant stand what its become. I would rather watch FELDS other show the tweedle boops..

A jet semi vs a monster truck I do believe. I'm waiting for the midget wrestling, that seems to be all that is missing.
