So let me get this straight, both of you Jeff & Mark have yet to offer your opinion on what type of motor he should use, but are all worried about my opinion???
I should have known that both of you live on here 24 / 7 by the number of posts you both have, I'm real sorry if I stepped on both of your toes, jeez get a life!!!

Moose,,,,the guy was asking about building a STOCKER! The 440 and Hemi aren't stock combos on a 68' Dart,,,,,the Hemi is Super Stock only.
Don't tell the other two to "Get a Life",,,,,,they're a couple good racers with wins and records under their belts,,,so I'd say they've deffinately got a life. They also use their real names as I will,,so get your nuts out of the knot they're in and go back in the woods.

thier is a 73 duster in the dragster (issue29) for sell. cheap and easy way togo 1.14 under.

440 is stock combo @ 350 Hp in 69 Dart...same car just different grille and small trim, Charlie Smith held record with one a year or two ago. Very Fast Combo! Bill's car in Dragster is 1.14 under old index.....Beautiful Car....I believe it is one I sold it to him. If so it is old Calif. Missile Car .

Thanks Guys. The 340 is sounding good.
I won the track championship in Gainesville with a 340 duster with a 4 speed in 1977.
Who is the 340 expert in the southeast. Thanks
