And some last shots before 1/3 of super stock field was turned around from the staging lanes and back to their pits when the rain came in.

Great pics as usual Chris; don't know how many cars Wann and Wong can possibly show up with(Where did I go Wrong?). Wann's 63 Savoy and Wong's 65 Signet are very nice, shows you have a soft spot for Mopars, keep it up!

Saturday morning and the word of the day is rain. Looking at the forecast things are not looking good for today. Rare for this in Vegas but it happens. I guess we need to put on another pot of coffee as its going to be a long day. And I want to thank Chris for the great photos as well. I'm sure she'd rather be racing her 90 Camaro I/SA but mechanical issues last weekend at the national in made that impossible.

To my surprise and I'm sure several other racers we are sunny as of now so the plan is for one more qualifying run then into eliminations weather permitting. According to the weather channel we have about a 3 hour window until its supposed to rain. I'll keep you posted.

Stock round 2 in the books. Looks to be about 7 slower than yesterday. Supercomp running now. Superstock will be called to the lanes soon.

Yes I did say I was going to leave the camera down. But being a photographer and this unique weather and lighting, and rare clouds in the southwest, I had to pick it up and grab some snaps of the weather and stockers.

Damn. Was 2 pairs away from running first round and the shies opened up. The track was pretty much dry and I'm sure we were close to being called again. And guess what?

After the race was called, the skies cleared and it's beautiful. Unreal. Was fun being here and seeing some old friends and meeting new. Chris your pictures are awesome. Sticking around and running the Skyhawk in the Spring Fling this week.

Well it looks like we will run this event in the fall between the national and the divisional. Should be an action packed couple of weeks.
