Amsoil super shift has a kinematic viscosity of 100 degrees c of 7.1 and 41.9 at 40 c. If you need anymore info you can check amsoil.com or contact me.

Bob, kudos, for sure! But I got tired just reading it!
Protecting a soft horse power factor, running an unpopulated class, and drinking beer is another way. lol. Mike Smith taught me that. (RIP)
We didn’t go real fast, but we had a good time and won a few rounds. 11.60’s on (at the time), an 11.85 index. At the time, 25 years ago, D/SA was that class in Div 1. Mr. Horensky kicked our butts, and we did pretty well staying away from Nick Reiter. I don’t remember any others. (I’m sure there were a few.) We also had other engine combos planned, but we never got to try them out.
Pardon the hijack.

Hi Eric, I'm currently running Dex VI in the Pacer, have tried Dex 3 and the high viscosity Allison TES295 fluid in the past. Never saw a noticeable difference in stall speed between the 3. PM me if you like, I'll fill you in with whatever I can.

Per the chasis dyno wants 500 looser on the RPM, which is obviously a ton, and not going to happen with just fluid, but with a low HP beast like the Gremlin, we might see more of an effect of the fluid than say your standard 635 HP 396 stocker.......

Reflashing this convertor, too risky. Have a known good enough thing here.

I know just about all the info on the site is about using thicker fluid to lower stall, I'm looking to increase stall as much as possible.

I believe specific gravity is likely the ultimate factor in stall,

So for my type F, using the formula, 141.5/API of 31.5 plus 131.5=.8498

a thinner fluid like their Dexron VI syntethetic with a API of 35 would be a .8681 SG

This is 1.0215% thinner than the type F.

The ATI 0w-8 weight might be a option, I know there are other synthetic fluids out there with real thin weights.
