Re: Hoosier radial drag slick
On an A/SA car c06 wont last as long as c07 , but an A car gets less tire life in general compaired to my E car , I do 2 to 3RD gear burn out count to 5 and drive out , 20psi . What rear shocks and settings and do you hit a wheelie bar like most A/SA cars ?

Re: Hoosier radial drag slick
I run the C07 tire at 17 psi on a 10" rim and get at least 150 passes. I don't use the line lock at all on the burnout. 1-2 and out. Car is 3600 lbs, 1.41 - 10.20.
I experimented with Goodyears for a bit but I've generally run this same combination on Hoosier radials since 1995. |

A couple times I have waited too long to replace them and when these tires are done, they are DONE and will not hook at all. |

Re: Hoosier radial drag slick
Willy If you are getting close to 40 passes on a set of lightweights you have done well. You are running A/SA with a big block Chevy not only will it eat tires but it also likes the taste of money. Not sure why you put a set of lightweights on. Buy the regular ones and you will get 50 plus runs on them. BP
