Good evening boys n girls - If for some reason you decided to skip this race it was a bad decision as it has it all .Cloudy - hot - .humid and full pits . What a greeting -- it should be some race - would you believe its August and we have 112 stockers and more coming in .And lets not forget speed and ET- New Jersey resident Ken Kopecky is on the provisional pole at more than a second under in his Demon .

Traction has been an issue - yesterday was terrible and this morning after the crack NHRA Division guys prepped the place it was great .But then the afternoon Sun arrived and some of the greatness went away .They are trying - ask Bob Bender who led the stockers out both rounds with his two and a quarter ton Kingswood wagon and swears he had shook the tires on both runs .

Me??? I decided to bring out my old faithful COPO coupe which hasn't been raced in over a year - now you know why you haven't heard from me all day .There will be clean-ups tonight and another round of time trials tomorrow morning then
into elims tomorrow afternoon.

Tonight they'll also run the Top 8 stuff and its not for beginners - 8 spots and 8 hitters in Stock .

Hey guys, I had to go home for tonight. I will be back tomorrow as I only live 45 miles from the track. I wanted to post more photos and qualifying, but it will have to wait until tomorrow when I get back to the track.

Good morning everyone, its already 84 degrees, so its going to be a warm one today. Stock has been called to the lanes. Looks like we will have well over a 100 cars in stack and close to 90 in Super Stock. I few more shots from yesterday, I will be back later.

Is there a reason why on D1TV there's no "play by play" calling by the announcer? A tech problem? Same yesterday.

Stock and Super Stock are done qualifying. Stock should be up very soon for first round. Temps are in the low 90's today, but the tack seems to be holding up well. I will try to get the final q sheets before we run and or later.
