Where is it listed for the 62 383 which would only be a Chrysler I think. Is it legal on the 62 361.

Guys, this and every other accepted intake that was NEVER offered from the factory can be traced to the GENEROSITY of one Pat Cevengros. Fortunately , for us law abiding racers,...there is a new SHERIFF in town....

That intake first showed up for the 1970 model year. Period. The choke thermostat needs a cup and gasket under it because it is open the the exhaust crossover. That intake never came on a 1969 model year vehicle.

Never is a pretty strong statement when talking about Chrysler products. Especially those that were built at the end or the beginning of a model year.

in regards to statement that 666 only came on 70;s is dead wrong. I personally bought a 69 in laurel Maryland brand new with said manifold and I sold it in 79 and it still has that manifold on restored car. Also I have salvage yard with mostly Chrysler stuff and have personally seen a lot of 69 cars it Just last year I sold 69 charger for Dwight Machael of Las Vegas and guess what, it had same manifold on it. Never say never with ma mopar

that old line “never say never with Chrysler”is the biggest line of BS I’ve ever heard. Other than the stones are the worlds rock n roll band. WHO?

You work at a the factory, a deaership, or a repair shop and see masses of these then your getting somewhere.

I have worked in a repair shop for over 30 yrs, have worked in Chrysler dealership, have a salvage yard with mostly old mopar, lots of 62 - 72 models lots of mopar trucks, including 83-85 fuel injected ramcharger, I have in my possession a 426 maxwedge block that I removed from a new 71 Chrysler bought new in Brooklyn by a lady that left on vacation and lost aradiator hose @ the painted desert and was replaced under warranty @ dealership I worked at, so lots of things were done by Chrysler in those years, Mr Hopkins lost the battle, but if he appeals he will win the war, been there and done that with mopar stuff

Chrysler intake manifold is of the month .
So said intake 666 is illegal soooo I guess Mr Hopkins was ready with another intake in the trailer cause it may be wrong. But I will bet it’s the better piece. So if I show up with wrong intake on my car will I be able to get same mulligan. Don’t think so

I think James has a good question here! With all this talk of "tightening up" by NHRA tech, will it be like this example, put another part on at the same race and go racing, or your out and come to the next race with other parts, or 1 year suspension???? How's this going to work??? Will it be the same in all divisions????
