here are the pics of the 09 Mustang.
Because the seat back did not lean back to it's normal position, I had to "flip" the head rests...otherwise with a helmet on there's no way I'd be comfortable. I may still cut the cross bar out and install a 2" setback version

Also, I think it may be tough to make it easy to sit in the back seat by following the current rules regarding roll bars. I tried to crawl under mine. Going over would be easier if I needed to.

I do like the fact that I can remove any of my seats easily :)
===============================================

Looks really nice.
Like that my cars has 4 Doors..

Changing over to Stock is a pain..!
A Roll Bar is a wise safety item to add anyway.

Adding the last changes planned, document the results.
Will get the car closer to the 12.65 K/SA index.
Typically a 13.15/12.95 car during the season, figure 2 tenths left.
Cold day looking to hit a 12.45, best to date is a 12.65 at Cecil.

A new Stocker Cam should get the car to run 3 tenths under consistently.

BUT first the Roll Bar !

I forgot you have a 4 door.
Plus you have a body on frame car so it might be harder than a unibody since you have to have things welded to the frame

Dan, with a stocker cam, more converter and gear to go with it you'll pick up guite a lot. Good luck with it. Lee

Thanks Lee
Hope so..
Right now limited to 4400 stall with the Yank 4400PT in the 4L60E
Figure 5.13 or 5.38 gears with 30 inch tires will help.
Have an 10 Bolt 8.5 inch rear.
Later can upgraded or move to 12 bolt.
Mixed opinion whether the 8.5 is strong enough.

The PCM is limited to 7000 rpm...so need a cam that is all up by 6800.

Dan

8.5 is plenty strong enough with a spool and big axles. Big question will be can you get a deep enough gearset.

By the time I buy the parts and have some install everything.
Might be better to by a whole new prepared rear and bolt it in.

Hope you took care of the body mount problems as those cars are Flexable Flyers. We had a '96 SS, nice cars if you have some tools and like to use them. John Kissel K242

Been part of ISSCA and WAIL groups for good while.
Added body mounts in missing areas a while ago.
Did FFAT at a Summit point couple times and some auto crossing.
Hawk pads with stock calipers did just as well as the Higly rated after market calipers.
For drag racing added a Dick Miller Suspension.
Used Belsteins shocks all around.
The fronts behaved like 70/30 for drag racing.

At ISSCA Nationals would drag race with DOT’s and auto cross putting the street BFG’s back on the car.

Up until a year and half ago would drive to the IHRA, WAIL and S/SS and Bracket Racing meets.
Put the racing tires on to drag race.
Then put the street tires on to go home or the motel.
