I've lived in the Springs since 1965. The cost of living IS much less than Denver. As with any large city, there are parts of town that you want avoid concerning housing. Overall it is a nice place to live...relatively moderate climate (it does get cold and snow sometimes in the winter), beautiful scenery, a fairly strong economy, and not as much of the big city traffic hassles as there are in the metro Denver area. |
Re: Denver living areas ???
It appears to be looking at a map like maybe 65-75 miles which depending on traffic or the weather could be at least more than a hour and a half on a good day. Denver is out for now looking at Colorado Springs. Also considering Boise and Idaho in general. Thanx for your insight. Fed 387

Take a look at Niwot. It is roughly between Boulder and Longmont. It's a good location and has to be a little less expensive than the bigger cities. It's pretty small which is good in a lot of ways
