All of the oils discussed here obviously are the best , don't think anyone has mentioned amsoil though. So let me ask the question a different way. 1 engine 1 dyno all conditions being equal 10-30 weight. ..would any of them show a HP increase over the others?

Renegade Racing Fuels also offers a line of synthetic blend race oils. They have some of highest zinc content of any oil on the market. And the price is right.

Short answer=YES, within any viscosity there
are oils with different additive packages that
can have an effect on the performance characteristics
of the oil.

A couple years ago I back-to-backed oil changes on the dyno. 10W30 Valvoline I run "in bracket mode", vs Royal Purple "Race9", (zero-W-10) oil. I was amazed. Iirc, it was like twelve hp? I would have never guessed.
