Re: Jay Hullinger Retires

Jay Hullinger had no idea what the word "customer" meant. In my IMO he did not care one bit about Stock and Super Stock racers. He hosted meetings with Top Dragster and Top Sportsman racers a number of times and never once to my knowledge did the same for Stock or Super Stock racers. Just look at the schedule. Racing in St Louis in July,Columbus in August and always in Boiling Green in August. For years we raced in Cincinnati in August. Each time racers and spectators would succumb to the heat and be treated on site or taken to a medical facility for treatment. He did not care or think about what might have happened to these people. As far as I am concerned good riddance to Jay Hullinger.

We have a DD that's exactly the same out here in Division 7.....

It must be in NHRA play book to treat Stock & Super Stock racers like crap............

You guys should have gone through a couple decades of having Bill Holt for a division director.

Amen Alan....Jay worked for NHRA for over 30 years,he must have done some things correctly. That is one tough job and I will sure miss him. I know for a fact that the tech men,his associates, and Mr Redman all thought the world of him.....Enjoy your retirement Jay, you sure earned it....you have spent enough time hanging around drag strips....LOL.....
