That is what NHRA told me when I phoned them. They said not to call it a Powerglide, but if it is called a C2 then it can be used in any Stock or S/S Ford that came with an automatic.

There are a lot of guys in the heads-up Mustang scene running very low eights in 3300 lb cars with C-4's. If done right, they are a very good trans.

I have a "sleeper" for class racers to try ;)...Dana Sniff Transmissions in Irvine CA...he is a C4 specialist, he and his brother run one in their own heads up car and constantly doing r&d work. He fully understands customer service and has been working on some rather cool "lightweight" tricks of late. ph. (949) 559-6563
