Anti sway bar. 1st pass on a radial was worse then the time I had a front tire go down just past half track. With the bar in its a smooth ride. Nail in tire I ran it out. Didn't know anything was wrong till I got back to the trailer. Just thought it was a bad track. Picked up a screw in the lanes. With the radials I thought the car was going to flip over and let off at half track. Dad thought the same thing standing at the starting line.

For some cars, the front suspensions are the weak spot. Look at your tie rod ends. Are they the factory 40 year old tie rod ends? Even if they have been replaced, they can still flex to the point the car can pitch rotate.

Gary Wisecarver took care of this on our Camaro by utilizing a larger OD center link and round tube chromemoly as tie rods with heim joints. Pretty much took care of the wobble. We used Afco DA shocks for the front and Santhuff DA for the rear.

I understand the Eddie Rezac has a very good solution for the Chevy IIs.

i had the same radial wobble with my Hossier tires, ends up that this manufacturer tires work better on a 14" wheel, i put them on 12" wheels not knowing and it was quite the ride to say the least! Once i put them on a 14" wheel they were great speed wobble gone.

What about for a 9 inch Radial Hoosier stocker tire. Do they do it as well or is it just the wider SS tires that do it. Will a 10 inch rim work ok on the 9 inch versions?

When I was foot brake bracket racing mine, the 9" X 30" radials hooked better (with more air in them), ran quicker, and stopped all wobble when I went to 10" wheels.

Most are running 10" wheels (if they fit) with the 9X30 Hoosier Radials for higher air pressure and better stability. I have run as much as 24lbs and as little as 20lbs. No problems. Jim

That's where I ran mine. Ran high nines on them. Thought they were all I needed until I got a Trans brake.

Good news cause I already bought them and mounted them. Thank you for the info.
