You are welcome. The article on the Cobra above the steering wheel says Indy and Sportsnationals class winner in '83 and '84. Well the pic at Indy was in '79 and they also won class at Indy again in '85 then the car got parked. It will be returning soon... so stay tuned :D

I saw Truman several years ago at Tommy Ellison's. He apparently had found the original car and bought it back, and was in the process of putting together a 400 ram air motor for it. He said he was planning on restoring the car and then selling it a Barret Jackson auction.

Car was sold in May to long time Firebird collector Jim Mino. He has reassembled the car and plans to run the factory stock drags with it. He has been working on it all summer. I think he ran it Pittsburg Dragway a few weeks ago. Truman has moved to Arizona to retire to a quiet life with his wife Denise.

Tom was an incrediable engine builder and great man. I really enjoy hearing about the "old days" and cars he was involved with.
