Thanks a bunch. I been wanting to try a nhra div. My car is close to legal I suppose.

If I remember correctly when you use threaded rod it has to be 3/8 dia, at least that was what I was told by a tech guy once when I had used 5/16.

They battery will be fine. I dont like finding things out the hard way plus they are cheaper to fix at the shop. I am excited about attending my first NHRA div.

Do you think it's a bad idea to use a 2-row core, 6 cylinder radiator to save weight? Or will I run into cooling issues? My 327 block is filled, and I'm using a Meziere electric pump with electric fan....

After a long day in the shop I got a big step in the direction I need to be going. I scored a rad. not in the best of shape but it holds water.:D battery box is done. new gear set in trans. only a couple more items to correct and I should be good to go.
