I believe backspacing is 7" on a 10" rim, but I need to check it.
Interesting thoughts on how the tube is wadding up.
As far as pressure goes, Hoosier suggested either going way up or down to kill some traction at the hit.

Bogart if they are still in business made a custom wheel for a friend that looked like the TRX wheel for an 83 Mustang.

Not a thought, fact, ran 11" tire on 64ply in 1973 ( been there done that) Picture in Album, red 64 setting record May, 73
